We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Symfony Developer with strong ownership and the ability to work independently in a backend-focused SaaS environment.

You’ll be working on a compact European SaaS platform providing proxy and VPN services, developed by a small, dedicated engineering team. This is a full-time and fully remote engagement for the upcoming months, aligned with European business hours, with the possibility of extending the cooperation long-term, depending on the client’s roadmap.

Get ready to:

• Develop, improve and maintain backend components of a SaaS platform used by European customers

• Build modules for automated provisioning, refreshing and configuration of proxy/VPN infrastructure

• Integrate services with external providers and APIs

• Extend the SaaS management panel with new features for purchasing, renewing and managing service packages

• Implement monitoring, reporting and traffic analytics mechanisms

• Optimize performance, scalability and resource management processes

• Work on system authorization, customer billing & account-related automation

• Create internal tools and endpoints supporting customer operations and administration

• Modify existing solutions and support the integration of software components

• Participate in estimations, defining specifications and shaping timelines

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation

• Engage and collaborate effectively with team members across Polcode and the client’s team.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong commercial experience with PHP and Symfony, preferably in a SaaS environment 

• Solid understanding of backend architecture, REST APIs and systems integrations

• Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, infrastructure workflows and cloud-based environments

• Experience with MySQL, CI/CD pipelines, deployments and automation

• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of delivered features

• Strong communication skills and readiness to collaborate with teams on both the Polcode and client side

• Comfort working in regular European business hours (approx. 8-16 / 9-17 CET)

• Advanced English (B2+/C1) for smooth technical communication in an international team

It would be great if you also have:

• Experience working with Golang
